The Woodlands in Longwood, FL is an established community of 552 homes conveniently located 13 miles north of downtown Orlando. This stable, well-maintained community is a great place to raise a family, with some of the best schools in the area. The entrance to The Woodlands subdivision is only one mile from Interstate 4, making your commute to Downtown Orlando about 20 minutes.
This website has information about our incredible neighborhood and is hosted by the Woodlands Civic Association. The Woodlands Civic Association has been a part of our community since 1971 when a group of residents met to establish an organization that would ensure the subdivision stood out amongst others in the area. Their efforts and those of subsequent board members, The Woodlands’ Neighborhood Watch, countless members and volunteers who have served over the years have helped keep The Woodlands one of the safest and most desirable sub-divisions in Seminole County. The Association has always been a voluntary membership organization whose dues go to directly benefitting the community as a whole. The Association’s goals are to make The Woodlands an exceptional place to live by organizing and providing events that benefit our community.
A Letter from the Woodland Civic Association President 2-11-2015
My name is Todd Burnett and I reside at 218 Tollgate Trail. I volunteered to be part of the Woodlands Homeowners Association Board, and was nominated to be its president. I gladly accepted and hope to carry on the hard work that the outgoing president and board members have started. I have lived here for 13 years now with my wife Tonya and two kids Ciara and Cade (now grown). We sought out this neighborhood for the school district and the folks that lived here. To this day we know we made a great choice. I am committed to serving our neighborhood and, with your help, making this the community where everyone wants to live. Please feel free to contact me.
